About NOC Web

How to Find Your IP Address

For Win95 and Win98

Click the Start button, then click Run. Run this command: winipcfg. Choose the correct network adapter from the combo box.

For WinNT and Win2000

Click the Start button, then click Run. Type the command cmd to start a command prompt. In the new command prompt window, run ipconfig /all.

Look under the section for the appropriate network adapter. If you are on a wired Ethernet LAN, that section header should read Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection. Make sure the description does in fact match your network adapter hardware.

Linux and Other UNIX Systems

From the shell prompt, run ifconfig -a and look under the appropriate network interface. For Linux, your network interface might be eth0.
