DR Drill on 24 May 2008

SoC ITU will be conducting a Disaster Recovery Drill (DR Drill) for CR2 on Saturday 24 May 2008 from 10am to 3pm. During this period, all IT services will be down, including NUSNET access, Internet access, IPTel phone, suna, email, mysoc, webmail, etc.

Note that callers to your IPTel phone will be diverted to Voice Mail. You can forward your calls to your handphone if you prefer. The call forwarding will still work during the DR Drill.

The purpose of the DR Drill is to test and update our disaster response plans, and to familiarize our IT operations staff with our Computer Room recovery procedures.
