Subscribing to NOC News Feed

NOC now provides a news subscription service that allows you to conveniently stay in touch with NOC news updates without having to constantly visit NOC website.

This news subscription service is provided through RSS feed, also known as Live Bookmarks in Firefox. To use a RSS feed, you need a RSS reader or RSS aggregator. The Firefox web browser is one example of an RSS reader.

Here's how you can configure Firefox. When you access the NOC website, notice there is a new RSS icon in the URL bar, next to the lock icon. Click on the RSS icon. Change the Live Bookmark Name if necessary (e.g. "NOC News"). Create this Live Bookmark in Bookmarks Toolbar Folder. Click OK to complete. If the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder is not enabled, click View → Toolbar → Bookmarks Toolbar. Notice the NOC News item (or whatever name you chose) in the Bookmarks Toolbar. Click on this item to view at a glance the latest news in the last 10 days published by NOC.
