Unscheduled Network Disruption in SOC1

There was an unscheduled network disruption in SOC1 today 23 March 2006 from about 2:30am till about 9:45am. This was due to a prolonged interruption to our SOC1 building emergency power supply which started at 2am. The power interuption was caused by a faulty component in the building emergency supply board.

OED and contractors have temporarily restored power for now, but will need to schedule an urgent maintenance (including power interruption). We will keep you informed once the maintenance time is confirmed.
